Nestled in the heart of Marrakech’s Kasbah is a little-known treasure: MAP Marrakech (Monde des Arts de la Parure), a museum dedicated to the art and culture of ornaments, ornaments and jewelry through the ages and across cultures. Nestled between the Saadian Tombs and the Palais Baddi, MAP Marrakech is a veritable voyage through the world, with an impressive collection of over 3,000 pieces from more than 50 different countries. Each object tells a story, testifying to the richness and diversity of cultures through the prism of finery.

Le Monde des Arts de la Parure is much more than just a museum. It’s a unique place where craftsmanship and creativity come together to reveal an exceptional collection of finery, ornaments, jewelry and ceremonial garments.

Marlene and Paolo Gallone, passionate collectors, are at the origin of this extraordinary collection, having scoured the globe in search of unique and exceptional pieces. In love with Marrakech for over 35 years, they decided to share their passion by opening this museum, after more than 7 years of hard work and determination.

Architecturally, the MAP Marrakech building is itself a work of art, designed by architects Michel Charrière and Joseph Achkar. Spread over three levels around an octagonal skylight, the museum offers visitors a captivating, immersive experience. At the top, a terrace designed by Marius Boulesteix offers a breathtaking view of the medina and the Atlas Mountains.

With entrance fees accessible to all, the museum aims to democratize access to culture and promote intercultural exchange.
